There is a very strong and close connection between education and culture. In fact, the entire educational system related to one culture is inevitably impacted by its culture. To better understand the needs of a certain society, their educational system is there to point those needs out. The characteristics of a culture pass on to the educational system and just like each of it is different, so are the educational systems.
If one culture is materialistic, so will be the educational system. Some of them care more about aesthetics and spirituality while the others are more leaned to individualism. The things people learn through their education are absolutely influenced by the culture they belong to. It is a known thing that social traditions influence the ways of a creative process of doing things, imagining, remembering and thinking.
With this in mind, one could safely conclude that education is an essential aspect of culture and the other way around. So, that basically means that one can’t exist without a matching educational system nor can an educational system exist outside of the boundaries of one culture. They are intertwined and represent one society and their customs, traditions, language and religion.
The perfect foundation
The culture has all the characteristics of that particular educational system and the system is saturated with cultural influences that make that system what it is. One can’t exist without the other and together they make a foundation upon which one nation stands. If you find a great culture in some part of the planet, that usually means that behind it, you will find the educational system that is highly developed. It made education possible and education made culture even more profound.
So, the connection between education and culture is existential meaning that you have to have both culture and education in order to evolve and improve your existence. When you look at it like that, it is more than clear that one nation can’t exist as such without a clearly established system of culture and education. On the bigger scale, that is how they present themselves to the world.
